Keyword GuidelinesThis is a featured page

You should stick to these guidelines whenever you add a page. Also, try to make sure you edit the Keywords to comply with them when you view them.
    • Cleanup (for pages that require an overhaul) - if you see a Needs Work tag, change it to Cleanup.
    • Kirk, etc. (for pages with a strong relation to that character or ship etc.)
    • Datasheet (for pages using the Alien Species template or pages that describe a machine or character)
    • SvR (for pages where an argument between science and fantasy has/is taking place)
  • Remove keywords that are small or invisible on the Browse by Keywords box
  • Remove keywords that are the same or similar to the name of the page
  • Let's say that there's an individual under the "Human" page. Let's say Kirk. You may add his name to the "Humans" page's Keywords.
Just a note - this is why it helps to do this:
  • Cleanup means people know what to work on first
  • Character keywords mean you can quickly find out all the information we have on a character
  • Datasheet means this is a page with a set of facts about something. Ideally, this should apply to all Alien Species and Equipment pages, but don't add it until you think the page complies.
  • Adding a tag of the subpage name to the parent page helps people looking for the subpage find more information on it.
