1) I believe the SCRAMJET runs on kerosene, as do most aeroplanes and a few rockets
2) Plasma has so far not existed for more than a few microseconds

It's nuclear fusion, created by (1) Pressue or (2) Heat. We use huge 'torus' structures in real life but so far it has not been a success. The sun is a plasma, but it has the advatage of immense gravity. That's why you don't get small stars... 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

The pressure of the sun's gravity would heat it up to a point where it's gases turn to plasma? 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

It's really hot, probably from a nearby supernova which has since disappeared. The process creates so much heat that it gets to the point where the only limit is fuel. Pressure, by the way, can also make a plasma. Which has given me an idea. The mass of the helium created is less than the sum of the mass of the components, so if the process were repeated on the same atoms, maybe negative - or 0 - mass could be achieved. If this was the case a 'Star Ship' could be constructed with 0 relative or collective mass, and you would need hardly any fuel to accelerate to light speed, or very close.

I will put this idea to someone and see if they present me with some common sense.

Or if they don't maybe my theory actually would work.

Provided, of course, anyone who looks at this page understands it!

Hmm. That makes someone think about just how little we know about this place...
